United FC children, teens and parents will once again participate in the Wendy’s Walk for Kids, like they have done over the past few years, bringing in over 100 walkers and raising close to $2,000 annually for local children’s charities in our community.
United FC relies largely upon the generosity of countless sponsorships & private donations that help to offset the costs of training, fields and tournaments to our players. Wendy’s Walk for Kids is a perfect opportunity for our United FC family to give back and be part of a wonderful community event. We are proud to show everyone our United FC Pride and our sense of community.

Many of our United FC parents have questions or are interested in how we run our non-profit soccer club. Everyone is invited to attend monthly United FC Board Meetings at California Grill on Vestal Parkway.
In January, many members of United FC administration and staff attended the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Nation convention held in Philadelphia Pa. Together they received over 100 hours of training and over 20 new licenses or diplomas. United FC believes in continued development of its staff and prides itself in having the most well qualified staff in the area. While at the conference, they also had the opportunity to meet Michelle Akers and Kristine Lilly. Akers, the most decorated woman in soccer history, is a former leading American association football player, who starred in the historic 1991 and 1999 Women’s World Cup victory by the United States. She won the Golden Boot as the top scorer in the 1991 tournament. Lilly is a 23 year veteran of the United States National Team, a 2 time World Champion and a 2 time Olympic Gold Medalist. Kristine played in 3 Olympics and 5 World Cups. She retired January of 2011 after playing for over 23 years for the United States National Team.
