United FC follows the New York State West Youth Soccer Association’s (NYSWYSA) & the US Youth Soccer Association’s philosophy of play.
The shared philosophy is that ‘premier level’ soccer places undue pressure on players younger than U12 to ‘make the team’, ‘win’, etc. These younger players should really be playing in small sided games, developing their basic soccer skills and love of the game, rather than dealing with the pressure that comes with playing at the highest levels of youth soccer play. United FC… offers the highest quality, developmentally appropriate futbol training for every player in the Greater Binghamton area, regardless of their level of experience. The three distinct levels of training & commitment are Recreational, Club and Premier programs.

United FC enlists a top level training and coaching staff, providing them with the support necessary to develop well rounded players and teams.
A player can achieve more by developing the Five Key Elements to the game of soccer: Lifestyle, Physical, Psychological, Technical & Tactical. It is United FC’s responsibility to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive and organized plan that fosters each of these attributes.
